The Keep

6:00 Experimental Narrative 2004 Producer Director

Fantastical and enigmatic, The Keep imagines a time when the only pristine natural sites left on earth are those so badly contaminated that no human dares step foot inside. These deadly little gardens of Eden are called Keeps, and one woman yearning for a swim decides to take her chances and explore what looks like a perfectly good pond. The Keep was shot on location at Walden Pond and in Mono Lake and the voiceover is by Annie Sprinkle. Sound Design by Chris Kubick.
